At the insistence of the wife of Sharaf Rashidovich Khursana Gafurovna, the old adobe house was re-planned in 1979. Sharaf Rashidovun himself had to live in this renovated house. But this was the place where his childhood and youth passed, from where he left for the front and where he returned from the front.

The main purpose of creating a house-museum is to study the rich heritage of Sharaf Rashidovich Rashidov. The museum is located in 5 halls: the main hall, an exposition about the life of Sh.R. Rashidov, presented documents and personal belongings, gifts from leaders of foreign countries. Hall of Khursana Gafurovna Rashidova - an exposition dedicated to the wife of the Sh.R. Rashidov, documents and personal belongings are presented. Sh.R. Rashidova - the exposition presents objects and books from an office in a Tashkent apartment (reconstruction).

The museum is located in 5 halls: the main hall, an exposition about the life of Sh.R. Rashidov, documents and personal belongings, gifts from the leaders of foreign countries are presented.

The Scientific and Educational Memorial House Museum of Sharaf Rashidov is planning to hold the International, interdisciplinary scientific and practical conference "Sharaf Rashidov - Man of the Epoch". The conference will be held in April 2021 and will be dedicated to the study of the legacy of the outstanding statesman and writer Sharaf Rashidov.
