The Foundation’s first publication includes the novella “Kashmir Song” and the film script “Poem of Two Hearts” by Sharof Rashidov, united by a single idea. “Kashmir Song” is an artistic reworking of an ancient legend, an ode to fidelity, celebrating the immortality of beauty, love and happiness, the triumph of good over evil, and life over death. “Poem of Two Hearts” also reveals the content of an ancient Eastern legend about the love between the dancer Komde and the musician Modan, telling the story of eternal love conquering death. The book was published in Uzbek on June 18, 2020, in a print run of 500 copies.
